dezio
Hello, I have a problem: ENOM doesn't recognize my dedicated cPanel IP ***.***.21.153 from which I am connecting using WHMCS. ENOM API use server IP ***.***.21.130 as my IP, so there is: Error: Invalid client IP: ***.***.21.130 When I print PHP $_SERVER['SERVER_ADDR'] in cpanel account in which I use WHMCS, it prints correct dedicated IP ***.***.21.153 and not server IP, so I dont know how ENOM sees server IP ***.***.21.130 instead of cpanel dedicated IP? In this way every cPanel account can use ENOM API because it accepts only server IP, not cPanel dedicated IP. How can I solve this problem? I submitted a ticket to ENOM, but I don't know is this problem related to ENOM or WHMCS.. I think its problem with ENOM, because other registrars(RC, Stargate) works fine with only my cpanel dedicated IP I know I can request from ENOM to add server IP, but I think it should work with cPanel IP, not with server IP.
lance
We have the same, just give enom the dedicated ip as its only you and them see it so would be invisible to everything else.
RebelOne
you would think enom would need the dedicated ip, but in fact enom must have the server's main shared ip.
WHMCS Chris
Outbound requests from servers are typically done from the primary IP, regardless if set as "shared" or "dedicated" via the control panel. Requests are typically handled by the IP on 'eth0' (assuming eth0 is the primary interface).

dezio
Outbound requests from servers are typically done from the primary IP, regardless if set as "shared" or "dedicated" via the control panel. Requests are typically handled by the IP on 'eth0' (assuming eth0 is the primary interface). But how then for example Resell.biz recognize and accept my cPanel dedicated IP? I entered only dedicated IP in API settings, and it works fine. It works fine also in RC, so LogicBox in general works fine with only my dedicated IP. But Enom and Namecheap doesn't work with dedicated IP. They see only server primary IP. Maybe they get IP from different source?
petem
Can't comment on other systems but Enom can only go by the IP address you connect to them from. They have no knowledge of any other IP as they can only track the connection you are making. Therefore this is the IP address you need to get Enom to allow.
