sufi Posted June 5, 2013 Share Posted June 5, 2013 I wish to use NameCheap DNS services via WHMCS for the domains registered via NameCheap. How can I do that? Seems like I did not find any option. I am using WHMCS 5.1.x version. I use order-box domains as well, and DNS management is working perfectly for that. Now I need NameCheap DNS management options. From NC, I found following nameservers: freedns1.registrar-servers.com freedns2.registrar-servers.com freedns3.registrar-servers.com freedns4.registrar-servers.com freedns5.registrar-servers.com But when I set these nameservers via WHMCS, get following error message: An error occurred: [2011168] Invalid nameservers. Freedns nameservers can not be used as custom nameservers. Domain is registered via NC. Any solution/guideline for this please? And then there was one les Posted June 5, 2013 Share Posted June 5, 2013 yes, dont use the freedns servers, instead set up your own dns servers you can do it fairly easily. cpanel dns only is free to download and use if you are hosting on cpanel servers then you can very easily set up your own dns servers. it takes a few hours to complete and secure but its well worth the end result. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
