ehuk
Hi Guys, Has anyone used the Kayako V3 import script lately? Last Monday (06/05/2013) we switched over from Kayako V3 to the WHMCS built in system, and tried to run the import script which fails every time and throws errors such as: Step 3 - Data Import Importing Predefined Reply Categories Notice: Undefined variable: db_host in /home/noc/public_html/kayakoimport.php on line 0 Notice: Undefined variable: db_username in /home/noc/public_html/kayakoimport.php on line 0 Notice: Undefined variable: db_password in /home/noc/public_html/kayakoimport.php on line 0 Warning: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user 'noc'@'localhost' (using password: NO) in /home/noc/public_html/kayakoimport.php on line 0 Notice: Undefined variable: db_name in /home/noc/public_html/kayakoimport.php on line 0 So, there are some incorrect variables for the DB connection string, or perhaps the configuration.php is not called into this file. I have contacted WHMCS support and I am less than impressed. We have been a client since 2008 and never had problems in the past, however since raising this ticket on 06/05/2013 (#YFI-541516) we have only had 1 reply asking for login details (09/05/2013), and nothing since. It has been a week now, clients are wondering where their tickets are, and no matter how many times I ask for an update, WHMCS seem to ignore it. Needless to say we are getting increasingly frustrated, and now I am resorting to a public forum in the hope that perhaps someone from WHMCS will respond to my ticket, or someone has a working import script? I look forward to any suggestions! Thanks.
bear
Just for the sake of argument, was this put into the root of the WHMCS install (where the config file exists)? It most likely needs to be there to work. Instructions: "Upload the file to the root WHMCS directory on your server"
ehuk
Yup, "/home/noc/public_html/" is our WHMCS root.
