pelayo
I was running 5.0.4/5.0.5 when I tried to upgrade to 5.2.4, i.e. uploaded the appropriate files. After an error and no response from support for immediate troubleshooting I restored the home directory. After that I failed to log into the admin area and was constantly redirected to the customer client area. At the same time the system showed I had logged in as admin but would at the same time ban me for a failed log in. What in fact happened is that I now have 5.0.3/5.0.5 files sitting next to 5.2.4 files that seem to interfere with each other. I deleted most files from 5.2.4 which fixed several issues but still can't access the admin main page. The only major difference now between 5.0.5 and 5.2.4 is the classes directory in whmcs/includes, which I have been reluctant to delete because after renaming it I only gut blank pages in the admin area. Has anybody any clue about this? Edited May 5, 2013 by pelayo correcting folder name
WHMCS Chris
There are also quite a bit of database changes from 5.0 to 5.2.4 which is most likely presenting your issue logging in as an admin. What's your ticket number? You should definitely be running 5.2.4.
