How does WHMCS handle recurring billing

WHMCS is aware when a month has less than 31 days and will charge on the end of the month regardless of if it's on the 31st, or the 28th - much as how it handles overage billing.

Thanks. Will it go back to the original day the next time a month with 31 days occurs or will it just stay at 28 days going forward?

This does not appear to be true, at least with V5.2.15 (confirmed with demo.whcms.com as well)

If a service is set with a renewal date of January 31st, that service will have a period of January 31st through March 3rd. When paid, that service shows a renewal date of March 3rd resulting in no bill being due for February of this year....11 total invoices with the 12th invoice for 2014 (in this case) being due on January 3rd of 2015.

The only thing I can't confirm at this time is that maybe the system will wait until the invoice created after the due date of March 3rd will actually increment up to March 31st (instead of April 3rd). If it does do that, at the very least we are still dealing with a very confusing system here.

Can anyone else help verify this please?
