getsetfree
We have some customers who are purchasing domains, but not registering a hosting account - it is possible to have a web redirect or email redirect for the domains from within their WHMCS control panel?

getsetfree
That's great if you're using namecheap, and their NameServers - I'm not using either... Looking at the Wiki it may be possible if you use enom - I'm looking into this now - open to any other suggestions though...
brian!
Below is the link where you get proper information regarding domain redirection. namecheap.com/support/knowledgebase/article.aspx/385 I think the question was more about can it be done from within WHMCS rather than how to do it in general. as a rule by default, it can't... though if your registrar offers DNS Management and/or Email Forwarding, you might be able to do that via that route... we use a registrar that doesn't offer this option, so i'm not familiar with how it would work with WHMCS and how it would be accessed via the Client Area. depending on which server module you use (cpanel etc), someone may have written a module to do what you wish - but as you haven't mentioned which server and registrar modules you are using, I can't direct you to any specific package.

Hi brian, We use cPanel, and currently with the Heart registrar module (we moved away from Heart hosting!)... We're open to moving to enom for the domains, as it states dns record management and email forwarding available (http://docs.whmcs.com/Enom) - does anyone know if this works from WHMCS, and if you'd be able to set a forwarder?

Yes it does work, providing you use the ENOM nameservers where you want to manage DNS outside of Cpanel.
