brian!
I've just upgraded for the first time since my purchase in March and followed the "Performing An Upgrade" advice from http://docs.whmcs.com/Upgrading - using the full v5.2.4 release step 6 says... Visit the admin area as you normally would to login and you should then be automatically redirected to the upgrade script. If this is not shown automatically, please manually visit /install/install.php to invoke the upgrade process. but when I went to the admin area, it gave an error message (red box) and said to delete the install folder. when I deleted the install folder, the admin page worked fine and said I was using the latest version. as a test, I uploaded the install folder again and went to install/install.php - but it said "You are already running the latest version of WHMCS and so cannot upgrade." everything looks fine, and I did a complete backup before upgrading. I just wanted to check that I've completed the upgrade correctly... as a new user, I try to follow the docs, but often they seem to be written for older versions of WHMCS and the instructions are not as applicable to the new versions.
Alistair
Yes, it sounds like the upgrade was successful.
