WHMCS on a Non-CPanel Server

Hi,

i am looking for whmcs for my handling and automating my hosting clients.

I my main site (i.e company site) is hosted on a separate cloud vps, this vps holding only this single site and have no CPanel or any control panel over this vps.

I host my clients to different server/VPS, those have cpanel. so far all i do manually. Now i want to use whmcs want to automate billing and client account creation.

according to the scenario, my question is, can whmcs create account on remote cpanel server? as i will place whmcs on billing.mycompanysite.com which is on separate server with no cpanel and client hosting server is on different location with cpanel.

WHMCS does not need to be installed on the same server that hosts your customers, so it will work in the scenario you describe.

It is actually best that they are on different servers as if the hosting server goes down customers can still put tickets in with the other server

Definitely, and the server it's installed on doesn't need Cpanel.
