haneyhack
Hiya I have a ticket out for this issue ALC-443285 that I sent yesterday morning, so far no answer so I thought I'd try here. A new client signed up and paid, I accepted the order and clicked the create module to setup the account as I have done before. Trouble is the Cpanel was only partially created. It created the cpanel directory and the following ONLY: .Cpanel --.resource_logs --contactinfo I can FTP into the site, and the site is live so the DNS has propagated, everything works except for the cpanel So I don't think I can just copy the cpanel from another account and load it, and I'm not sure if I click the create module if it might screw up the site? Comments? Suggestions? Or just wait (sigh) until the ticket is responded to, if the new client waits that long.
WHMCS Chris
Hello, WHMCS simply sends the API call to WHM. At which time it's WHM's job to create the account, so it sounds like WHM was either interrupted or is having a larger issue than that. I would recommend looking into WHM's ability to create accounts outside of WHMCS instead.
haneyhack
Ok figured it out. What I did was upgrade the client, then downgrade the client. It finished the install and cpanel is there now. Not sure if it was the right way or not, but it got the job done. Thanks!
