ServWise.com
I am so getting the hump of the pass the buck attitude and complete lack of support from ENOM. I asked a simple question "why is WHOIS not updating for domain XXX". A. Please direct your question to your reseller. (I'm not with WHMCS BTW but a competitor I won't mention) So I open a ticket with the same Q. with my direct reseller who say they have opened a ticket with ENOM. No answer for days, so I chase it up and they say they have chased it up..... Many more days nothing, so I turn again to ENOM and complain that going though my direct reseller is not helping. They lie to me and say "They opened up a ticket with us today which was answered today. Please continue to work with them on this issue.". Anyway now they say "If you are not happy with the service they are providing (reseller) you may look into becoming a direct reseller with us." Yeah but it will cost 6K and I will still be left with dumb arse, lying support people who don't give a f**k about their customers. Luckily I no longer register new domains with ENOM. (Just have a legacy bunch of domain with them) and I am now a happy customer of OPENSRS who offered me a FREE 9$ reseller account which actually works and where the support staff so far have been excellent. I do hope ENOM read this and start to buck up their ideas because I can see a lot of people moving away if it continues.
WHMCS JamesX
I never liked that part of eNom. However, with ResellerClub, I've always gotten excellent support via the phone anytime that I've had to call them. If they couldn't resolve any issues while on the phone with me, they escalated the issue, and it was dealt with promptly with a follow-up from them.

I never had a bad support experience with Enom as a direct customer/reseller, personally. Support was always quite good, if not a bit slow at times.
ServWise.com
What proof that Enom was the one lying? The likelihood of the ticket just happening to be opened the same day as I complain after 3 weeks of chasing up is remote at best. Sure it could be the case but I very much doubt it. Maybe being a direct customer makes all the difference, it shouldn't though should it... Unfortunately I can't say the same as you about my experience of the support from ENOM over the last 8 years, and that's mainly direct support not through the upstream reseller.
ServWise.com
A quick update on this. So looks like complaining on this forum has some effect, ENOM actually left me a voicemail on my *phone* [shock] attempting to right the wrong. Unfortunately I had already moved the domain away from them to my OPENSRS account which allowed me in 5 mins to change the whois info. Luckily the .uk domain had over a year left on it so the move was free apart from my time to do it of course.. Another gripe with ENOM if you are listening, to set the IPS tag of .uk domains on your service I have to open a support ticket, which is really laborious. On OPENSRS I can easily do it direct from the panel. Another nice thing I have found in OPENSRS is you can force a transfer check on domains rather than wait for their systems scheduled check, so once the IPS had been changed (Via laborious ticket to ENOM 'cough') a click on a button at OPENSRS checked the domain and I had it in my account within 5 mins. Little things like this make all the difference.
scurrell
Another gripe with ENOM if you are listening, to set the IPS tag of .uk domains on your service I have to open a support ticket, which is really laborious. You can do it using the API Basically we just run a small asp script in a browser from a server where the IP is registered for API access with ENOM <form name="send" method="GET" action="http://reseller.enom.com/interface.asp?command=authorizetransfer&responsetype=HTML&encoding=yes"> <input type="hidden" name="command" value="authorizetransfer"> <input type="hidden" name="responsetype" value="HTML"> <input type="hidden" name="encoding" value="yes"> <input type="hidden" name="authorize" value="yes"> Enom Username = <input name="uid"><br> Enom Password = <input name="pw"><br> Domain Name = <input name="zone"><br> New IPS Tag = <input name="receivingregistrar"><br> <input type="submit" value="send">
