when a customer chooses to pay by bank transfer is there a way of setting something up so that the bank details show on the invoice so they can pay directly?

i have a customer who doesn't log-in to the automated system actually they don't do anything on-line apart from email as i built and maintain their website.

but any invoice generated i then have to email them the bank details seperately.

thanks steve

Im not sure if that would be a normal thing to do for security reasons. But if it is on a per client bases i guess you could hand craft an invoice. I dont know if in the new version if the invoice notes show up in the invoice or not but if so you could open up the invoice and click on the notes tab and put the details inside there.

what about doing a custom field for the product, make a special product just for him maybe so that nobody else has access, then do a custom field and put the information in there. There is a checkbox for custom field to show on invoice.

Would that work?

Yeah you might be able to set up a product category called payment services, and put a bank transfer product in there. I have a similar set up for my personal services.
