durangod
I did the key in cpanel, i did the crt in cpanel, I bought the ssl, i got the email, i saved the cert in the .crt ext and uploaded it using the upload feature in cpanel. My cpanel shows both the rapidssl and the certificate so that seems good. Is there a place in whmcs post the key as well, i dont remember, im still getting the expired cert but my cpanel ssl screen shows 2014. what am i missing? Thanks
durangod
i just noticed that my key is 2048 and not 1024, would that make a difference on a normal ssl validation
WHMCS Chris
Hello, If you're installing it via cPanel you can only activate it if your account is already on a Dedicated IP. I would ultimately recommend doing this through the WHM utility.
durangod
yeah i deleted it all and started over, tried 1024 but it told me that was not secure and they dont accept it, so i went back to 2048 and got it reissued, just got my cert email so you say do this final step in whm huh, and not cpanel. I do have a ded ip by the way..
