Hi all,

Is there any module or script to check which active hosting services in whmcs don't use our DNS?

It has to check that their use our DNS, not that their own dns point to our servers, whmcs already does this.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,

If you simply want to check which domains that have hosting with you, but point to a DNS that is not yours then WHMCS does have this almost built in ;)

The utility allows you to check the IP address each domain in your WHMCS system is pointing to. This allows you to easily see which domains are no longer pointing at your servers.

This is usually a good indication they are using other nameservers. It also allows you to terminate accounts either singly or in bulk.

Its under WHMCS Admin > Utilities > Domain Resolver Checker. You can check individual servers, a selection or all of them.

that will only check the main domains belonging to your clients, but if you have a reseller that says has 30 accounts in his reseller account it does not check the 30 domains he has under his account.

If you have a reseller, it should be their responsibility to manage the accounts within it ;)

As to the original requirement, nothing built-in, but you can do a whois on most tld's and that will tell you the nameservers, which you could script and grep ...

yes it is the responsibilty of a reseller to manage what accounts they have under their control, but if the domain resolver in WHMCS seached all domains on the server then you could remind your clients of this.

softaculous has such a thing for outdated scripts in the fact it will give admin a list of ALL outdated scripts on the server, so you could inform the users of this fact.
