WHMCS CEO Matt Posted August 15, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted August 15, 2007 If you are referring to your feature request post asking for a way to be able to modify links in the client area and suggesting that cracking the Ioncube encryption was the only way then that was removed because what you were encouraging is not only illegal but also totally unecessary because it is already possible to change the links. The client area is templated so that you can change whatever you want! Matt
Richie
Lithium Its quite common for community admins/mod to remove posts/threads that already dealt with elsewhere as it clutters up the forum with things that really dont need to be there. Its good that matt does this... Just go take a look at the modernbill forums and you will see what a total mess they often turn into with irrelevant information, bitching, tech help all over the shop... I like how matt keeps this place tidy...
brianoz
While it's common for mods to remove posts that are already dealt with, the problem here was that something illegal and unethical was being suggested - cracking ioncube isn't something we need to discuss, or even have staying around confusing people in the forums.
