WHMCS and Marketpress

agueric

Question

Hi, I'm looking to use a monthly billing system using WHMCS and Marketpress (on Wordpress) based on the following.

A monthly invoice will be emailed to the client with the following charges depending on the activity on his account.

e.g.

-$1 fee for each product published on Marketpress plug-in

-a 1% commission on each product sold on Marketpress

Example:

On March, John uploaded 5 new products (he already had 25 up) and published only 4.

During the same month, he sold 2 products one priced at $100 USD and the other at $10 USD.

He would receive an invoice on June 1st with the following concepts:

- Product publishing: $4 USD

- Product commission: $1 + $0.1 USD

Total: $5.1 USD + Tax

Is this possible? how easy is it? If i buy WHMCS will support help me integrate it?

Regards,

Eric

start using marketpress and get a feel for it, see what you can do from in there, you may be able to do all that from it. if not, and you use whmcs, whmcs support isn't going to help you at all. and easy? not at all. you will need all sorts of coding to get info from databases and put it in the whmcs database and run hooks from this and that... nightmare. good luck.

Or a beautiful dream :) It all depends on the point of view. Agueric with WHMCS you could also run a script to launch the space shuttle. You just need programming skills or pay a web developer for this project. For sure WHMCS Staff can't support you for free. Anyway what you are asking is possible not necessarily with an hook but probably with a cronjob and an optional module for reports for your reference and quick configuration (e.g. change % and fee commissions on the fly with two forms inside WHMCS Admin area).
