WHMCS - ResellerClub integration job (Australian .com.au issues)

Hi there,

We are in desperate need for someone to fix 3 issues we have with WHMCS and ResellerClub all to do with .au domains.

1. Error in the eligibility type identification

when purchasing a .au domain there are eligibility criteria. One of these is the eligibility type. Ie, the client can enter an Australian Business Number (ABN), Australian Company Number (ACN) or a range of Business Numbers (BN) from different States within Australia. For example "VIC BN" which is the Victorian Business Number. There is a list of them. The problem is that no matter what Eligibility Type the client picks, the system will validate the number thinking it is an ABN; even if it is one of the many other numbers that the client may provide to proof his eligibility. After the validation of such different numbers fails the registration stops and is put in the "too hard basket". It is our opinion that the wrong attribute is passed through the API.

2. Expiry date after renewing a .au name is wrong

After the client transfers their .au domain name they will get an email notification that the new domain expiry date = the transfer date + 2 years (.au names are only available in 2 year lots). This is incorrect. The new expiry date should simply be the old expiry date + 2 years. This has the effect of domains expiring when clients think that the due date is not close yet.

3. Automatically transfer + renew .au domains

All registrars in Australia will renew the domain when it is transferred to them if the expiry date on transfer is less than 90 days into the future. This is currently not happening which is confusing for the client having to transfer the domain and then separately renew it. It is particularly problematic if the expiry date is close to the transfer date.

If you are able to fix these issues for us we would be very interested in talking to you.
