Terminate doesn't cancel invoices

Hey,

whenever a service is terminated (manually or automatically) the related invoices are not canceled.

i.e if a service is auto-terminated, it's really hard to manually track and cancel those invoices, and the client gets reminders when he obviously doesn't want the service.

in setup > general settings make sure that Cancellation Request Handling (Tick to automatically cancel outstanding unpaid invoices when a cancellation request is submitted) is ticked

the option is ticked & unrelated.

I am not talking about a Cancellation Request made by the client, but talking about a client that didn't pay the created invoice, the service was suspended and then terminated...

This is actually very important to me as well because my custom provisioning module automatically shuts off accounts if invocie is past due (and not paid), terminated or suspended.

If you don't get a response here, I would highly suggest contacting WHMCS support and see what they say. I know latest version of WHMCS was a bit buggy but they did their best to iron out those bugs.

Make sure to post back results for anyone else needing this. Thanks!
