MrVant
Hello, I have an order that was placed on my hosting environment on 10/13/2012. The customer/client has yet to complete the order (i.e. remit payment). Now this customer/client has access to paid client's resources (downloads, video tutorials, etc...). Multiple automated emails have been sent for overdue invoice, and I've even sent a personal email to the prospect, but no response. Is there a way to have an account not to access the paid client's resources, and better still, is there an automated way to remove an order that has not paid within a certain amount of time after signing up?
easyhosting
just mark the client inactive in the client profile. we had a client sign up on 16th Oct. who for his address, gave his flat number, town, county, postcode, but as he has not given street address the order was marked fraud but as "This order is low risk. This users address was unable to be verified." so i have contacted this client to correct this so the invoice can be sent and he can pay, this was sent on 16th and so far no reply from client, so he is marked inactive. i have just emailed him again saying that in 7 days the order will be closed and his IP recorded as fraud and blocked
MrVant
hi easyhosting, The inactive setting seems to be already set until payment is remitted, i didn't need to change anything there. But I did log in as client, and that's when i discovered they are able to download templates, view tutorials, etc... Was really wondering 2 things. 1. how to stop non-payees from accessing paid client's resources 2. setup some type of automated setting that will automatically delete/remove/cancel order after certain amount of time expires
hostgate
I saw a module that i think it's OK for your problem, please look at Hooks modules (http://www.whmcs.com/appstore/551/WHMCS-Cancel-Order.html).
MrVant
Thanks hostgate, that worked. I use other modules from that same vendor, great bunch of guys.
othellotech
You don't need any modules, you need to correctly define your product Set the automation on it to wait for payment before activating.
