Official OpenSRS WHMCS Add On Modules (Trust services & GoMobi)

OpenSRS is currently developing some official add on modules for WHMCS and we're looking for some beta testers. We anticipate entering beta testing in the next 10 days. If you'd like to help us out, please complete the form below and we'll get in touch with you if you are selected. Once beta testing is completed, we will be releasing the modules for free and they will be open source .

I've whitelisted my IP's and still getting

Please email help@opensrs.com so we can troubleshoot this issue for you. Try adding the domains IP as well as the shared IP as sometimes not having both can cause an issue.

I've had a ticket open since last Friday. Took almost 4 days to get a reply. And yes, I have the server IP and the domain IP's added. Confirmed earlier today - as well as using the correct reseller key and username. No response for a few hours since all that was confirmed by ticket earlier today as the error still persists.

 

What I can't understand is why you guys haven't got some sort of mechanism to see what is being passed to your server by mine and what's wrong or missing.

 

It wasn't cliear on your site either that the $95 was a set up fee. (I found the wording of that AFTER I had signed up). and expected it to be a credit on my account to purchase gomobi subscriptions.

 

I would need to sell 50 gomobis to break even. (That's if I ever get it working). When I asked for a refund today, it was refused.

What advantages, if any, does the OpenSRS module provide (compared to the WHMCS built-in module)?

The OpenSRS Domains Pro module provides a few enhancements that include:

- Phone Number formatting fix

- Cookie Bypass support (to allow editing of domains not originally registered with WHMCS)

- Additional TLDs

- Faster update cycle

Mike has been given access to my WHMCS install at his request. thanks Mike

 

We tried disabling SSL to action the API. No joy.

We double checked secure port 54443 was open for in and out connections with no firewall blocking. It is.

 

The last email I had suggested that their module doesn't work with WHMCS 5.2

 

It also didn't work in 5.1 either.

 

WHMCS support declined to help as they don't provide a module to work with GoMobi.

 

So all in all, so far, $95 paid to register for a service that can't 'as yet' be used. I thought OpenSRS was popular - and yet it seems no hosting company using WHMCS can sell GoMobi with them.

 

I'm hoping Mike hasn't finished with this and really hope there can be a good ending to this for all sides. I'll update once and if it's finalised.

Problem solved! WHMCS was using a different IP then what was authorized for API use.

I want to thank Mike for his help with this. Server IP and site IP not used by WHMCS was strange - but we're live on the site now and selling.

UPDATE:

The OpenSRS Domains Pro 1.0 module (beta 6) is working well with WHMCS ver. 5.2.2 on Linux after following these directions to install php-mcrypt.

Hi there, Mike.. I know this is an old post but we are trying to integrate OPEN SRS domain registration module as well as SiteLock Modult into our WHMCS. We are having a few issues, any way you or someone from OPEN SRS can help us out?

UPDATE:

The OpenSRS Domains Pro 1.0 module (beta 6) is working well with WHMCS ver. 5.2.2 on Linux after following these directions to install php-mcrypt.

 

We're currently using the GA OpenSRS Domains Pro 1.0 module with WHMCS 5.2.13 and -- for the most part -- it works well. i.e., There are a few quirks here-and-there but, mostly, it does what it's supposed to do.
