Live Chat add-on: Can I use 3rd party client (Pidgin/Trillian etc)?

Hi all,

 

As per the subject, I'm wondering if the WHMCS live chat add-on will allow me to chat using Pidgin or another IM client? The reason is that our team use Pidgin already across all devices.

 

This would be similar to ClickDesk (live chat for your website) - it taps into your IM client online status rather than requiring another windows app.

Nope, it doesn't. You'd need to use the Windows app provided.
