itechnique
Hi all, Our WHMCS platform has been very stable to date (several years). We are running: WHMCS 5.0.3 IIS 7 Windows Server 2008 PHP 5.2.11 WebSitePanel 1.2.1 Recently though, whenever we engage a function that integrates with a client's hosting account (on WebsitePanel) we get the dreaded "500 - Internal Server Error". Initially we were seeing an error in the Windows Application Log related to "...faulting module ioncube_loader_win_5.2.dll ..." I have updated the ioncube loader version. The ioncube test utility now reports that ioncube is working fine and up to date. It confirms that PHP.ini is finding the "zend_extension" path to the ioncube dll Ok. After updating ioncube we still see the error in WHMCS, however there is now no errors in Windows' Application Log. I have used IIS tracing to get more detail, and it mentions a problem in "FastCgiModule". I am at a loss. WHMCS support have not been able to help. I would appreciate any help or advice Thank you in advance.

itechnique
Hi Snake, No - never did. There seems to be little information around and WHMCS aren't willing to help. Rather disappointing actually.
snake
Well in my case I found the error was caused by whmcs support. They had given me files to upload for debugging and had not bothered to check which version of whmcs we were running first. Even after uploading the files we found problems and reported them immediately, but they did not care and did not bother to respond, they left us with a broken site for weeks on top of the issues we already have. It takes them weeks to reply each time no matter how urgent it is, and We have also been told that if we try to chase up a ticket in any way we will simply be moved to the bottom of the queue and replies will be even slower. Needless to say we are extremely unhappy with the very poor levels of Support so far and we are becoming very concerned about trusting such a core part of our business to whmcs.

duarte
The integration of WHMCS with WSP is too basic and occasionally there arises a problem. With the release of WSP 2.0 we again have problems.
