beware of WHMCSBB

I would like to warn others on WHMCSBB as these are only after your money and nothing else. thier WHMCS forum username is FORUMADDON.

 

I have been using this (http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?36714-Whmcsbb-1-9-7) for a while now without issues, so never needed support until recently i noticed that the admin username kept changing when io checked the forum on my site, so i opened a support ticket with them on their site 24/07/2012 08:42 and as of today 13/08/2012 09:05 it is still in the open staus without any reply. even posting on their own forum is left unanswered.

 

I emailed them after i received the latest invoice and got this short reply

 

From: WHMSC

Sent: Monday, August 06, 2012 9:43 AM

To: Main Support

Subject: Re: Invoice Payment Reminder

 

I do apologise for missing this ticket, I will take a look into your open tickets.

but still no solution or reply from them and as my invoice was due today 13/08/2012 even though i told them in my email to them i stated that i will not give them any more money until they can sort this out they have suspended my service.

I think its time Matt and the team looked at their WHMCS licence as they seem to be using this to commit fraud.

They are probably not responding because you have bumped your ticket and/or opened multiple tickets, this pushes your ticket to the bottom of the queue.

i could understand if it was that, but never touched ticket. thats why an sent an email to them when i got latest invoice and then Nathan replied saying he would look at ticket and that was a week ago.

That sucks and I hope you get some help with your issue from them.

 

i know you were joking. they have even ignored my request for instructions to remove their software, so i think that all they aree bothered about is taking orders and peoples money and provide them with no support.

I need to know how to remove this from my site as my invoice was due today and it has been suspended as i have not paid and will not pay until i can get a solution to my issue, so my forum will not work on my site. he has had enough time to answerr my ticket especially when he had the time to email me to say he would look into my ticket as he must of missed the ticket

sorry easyhosting, I am merely giving your type of response to people on here that get slow or no support from WHMCS... frustrating isn`t it....

 

Hope you get it resolved soon as do I wish myself and others get their issues resolved on here too

 

I looked at this module last year, and got a lack of response then, so never followed up with the purchase.

sorry easyhosting, I am merely giving your type of response to people on here that get slow or no support from WHMCS... frustrating isn`t it....

 

 

this is not issued by WHMCS, so the support is not a WHMCS support issue. i got great support etc when i first looked at this addon and after the purchase and it has run great until recently

yeah know a seperate thing to whmcs... I was merely stating that when others on here say about slow response or lack of forum staff you mention a standard reply of tickets and releases which doesn`t help anyone at all.... and you now mention lack of support elsewhere, so was giving a standard response...

 

I do hope you get it sorted, its frustrating as hell when you get nil response on issues... we have things since the 5.1.2 upgrade thats gone unanswered, fortunately these are minor compared to many people.... the more important stuff I managed to get info from Si on here that helped alot... I have resided myself to wait until the next update to see whats changed/fixed.

 

I would have thought though the whmcsbb woudl have been easy enought to remove, even if its just removing it from a template file not to show it.

not yet updated to 5.1.2 on my production set up yet as too many issues when i have this on dev licence.

 

yes i think i will look at the whmcsbb install instructions and just reverse these, which should remove it

i read something about vanilla forum onetime, do anybody know if the bridge still work with whmcs 5.1 ??

 

Yes, vanilla forum works great with WHMCS, it only takes about 1/2 hour to setup the integration if you are familiar with with linux and php, I've also provided step by step instructions if you search for it on the forum.

He asked about vanillia forums and I simply replied to his question. I also don't offer a commercial addon for vanilla forums, I do have a post that gives you a complete step by step details on how to integrate it with whmcs for free, so I'm not pushing anything.

So looking at a $300 outlay. Not a huge amount in the grand scheme of things.

 

do you think i would trust Boardoo after i had to remove whozonline after this would not work in v5 and i got no support replies either their support tickets on their forum or this forum.
