nolyoly
I'm trying to add my paypal information and when I navigate to Payments >> Payment Gateway its saying "Module Not Activated" Am I missing something here?
IceBlueHost
It very likely means something is missing. Try uploading the 'modules' directory again, I'm sure it will work then.
madara00
Here's the solution Matt did It seems that somehow the PayPal callback file made it into the gateways folder of the release. So simply replacing the attached file in /modules/gateways/ should take care of it. slatton
And why does that work? I mean, it worked, but why? 1. Go to your cPanel2. Go to File Manager 3. Open public_html/modules/gateways 4. Locate paypal.php 5. Rename into old.paypal.php
Kristy
I'm trying to add my paypal information and when I navigate to Payments >> Payment Gateway its saying "Module Not Activated" Am I missing something here? I just ran into the same issue - I suspect that it was because I used Fantastico/Softaculous to install the WHMCS. This was resolved by downloading the WHMCS zip file, and replacing all files except for my configuration file & templates directory (since I had already customised the layout). It then worked Hope this helps someone.
WHMCS Chris
Hello, There was an issue with that shipped paypal.php file - we have an update file which can be found here: forum.whmcs.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2978&d=1341658687 Or by requesting this via the Support Department.

WHMCS JamesX
I don't see a PayPal patch in the [THREAD=51266]5.1 Patches thread[/THREAD]. Does the 5.1.2 Stable Release download include this patch or does it need to be manually applied and was just not posted to that thread as of yet?
WHMCS Chris
A large amount of downloads were unfortunately affected by this. If you're still having issues, please submit a ticket to us so we can update your installation.

DavidBee
The latest version from within the client area seems to be running perfectly fine as far as the paypal file is concerned.
