CraZyLteR
Hi All, I searched this forum for a long time, but had no luck finding a real solution for the character conversion issues. I am in Turkey, and all my knowledgebase articles are in turkish. When I activate the SEO Friendly URLs option, and look at the knowledgebase article links, I see that all the Turkish characters like "ı, ş, ç, ğ, ö, ü, İ, Ş, Ç, Ğ, Ö, Ü" are deleted. That is a SEO issue especially when more than one letter is deleted and that word is not readable at all. During the search on that issue, I found other people who complain on that issue, too. In my opinion, all the non-English letters could be converted to similar English characters, like "ı => i, ş => s, ç => c, ğ => g, ö => o, ü => u, İ => I, Ş => S, Ç => C, Ğ => G, Ö => O, Ü => U. I looked for some custom solutions but all of them involves using a custom php file (recreating a new knowledgebase.php??) and writing own php codes for converting / replacing unsopported characters. I know that on the http://docs.whmcs.com/Support_Center page there is a note for that issue which explains in plane words that only Latin characters are supported in SEO Friendly URLs. But, what I would like is to convert these letters to English replacements. There are a lot of unanswered threads on the forum about that, so I hope someone answers to that question. Any words will be appreciated! Thank you all!
