sounds
Hi, I decided to use wordpress bridge for now, I'm not going to connect wordpress and whmcs logins or databases, for security reasons. Basically the users can explore wordpress which holds design and info for digital products Then lead the user to the client area where they can proceed to place orders, log in etc. Hoping someone has done the same and can give me a few tips, The integration works fine as far as the bridge goes, but i think the whmcs client area is holding the design of the wordpress theme, Which is sort of basic, cms looking still, it doesn't have the look of whmcs by itself. The top nav doesn't show when logged out, it only shows menu items when logged in. I can't fork out for the jwhmcs integration at the moment, even than i don't know if i would tie the joomla and whmcs databases togethe but i'm sure many people have. Basically my plan was to start offering streaming services in Ireland as i haven't come across anyone claiming to offer this service in our country so i'd like to jump on the idea. Any help, advice appreciated My latest project Edited July 24, 2012 by sounds
sounds
Just to add to this thread The top nav problem is being fixed by the whmcs bridge developers. http://forums.zingiri.com/showthread.php?tid=7225
Jared
I wouldn't suggest the plugin because integration and bridging are two different things, the bridge in this case is not the correct method.
kongolo
Jared, in what sense do you think integration and bridging are 2 different things?
sounds
I think he meant that the wordpress bridge plugin is easier than using the whmcs integrator for joomla, not sure?
