leemason
hello, Ive just replaced the files while doing a upgrade to the current whmcs version. i then as advised went to my admin folder to login and perform the upgrade, but it send me to /install/install.php and the only message i get is the down for maintenance message, no license agreement or anything, just a maintenance message. I've posted this as a ticket as well, but might get a quicker response here. has anyone run into this problem? I've got no client area or admin area access so I'm very stumped and a little angry right now. the upgrade should be a simple process.
jclarke
I'm not sure if this will help or not but here are few things to try. Did you turn on maintenance mode before you started the upgrade? If so you can try disabling it in the database and see if that helps. In the tblconfiguration table, look for a row with the setting MaintenanceMode and empty out the value field and then try again. Also there could be something in your .htaccess causing this issue, try disabling your .htaccess by renaming it.
