hostatree Posted June 28, 2012 Share Posted June 28, 2012 We are looking to have a custom script made in WHMCS. What we do is provide VPS to clients. We need to be able to better pro-actively monitor their sites on their VPS so should one crash we respond accordingly. Since WHMCS already has a ping monitor script created, we are thinking you code a field into the client area where they can add/delete domains that get added to the monitoring list. Should their service be marked anything other than "Active" these domains will be removed from the list. Monitoring will be done every 5 minutes. Should a site check fail, we are emailed. jclarke Posted July 3, 2012 Share Posted July 3, 2012 Our software, ServerPing, will do this and more. Your clients will be able to setup checks and be alerted via email or sms. You can also enable an option to send an alert to your helpdesk which will automatically submit a ticket on the users behalf. Our system allows you to setup multiple check servers so you can run checks from different data centers across the world.
