Displaying Announcements on DIFFERENT Domain

Is it possible to display the announcements on a different domain?

 

These instructions here: http://docs.whmcs.com/Linking_to_WHMCS

are for displaying within your WHMCS domain but I have WHMCS installed on a sub-domain and my main site on a different server, different domain/ip.

But if the code has to be added to my main site (not whmcs) using the code as displayed on this link:

Then I would be concerned about having to include this:

 

$username = "Admin"; # Admin username goes here

$password = "demo"; # Admin password goes here

 

 

Aren't those security concerns?
