Strother
this thread should be closed tbh...... Probably, but he has opened 2 threads with the same subject, so closing it isn't likely to end the dialogue.

bullten
Sigh, you don't get it do you. You screwed up by installing the beta onto a production domain. Your mistake, your problem. Don't expect sympathy by posting how "shocking support is" when you don't even read basic instructions. For the record, the longest I have ever waited for a response from support is a few hours. I wouldn't be at all surprised, in fact I would expect it, if tickets regarding a beta product were given a much lower priority than production installs. Well I believe you are a true fan of whmcs. I understand your feelings and wont like like to comment on that. When I even had the previous versions installed I believe the support was not upto the mark. Just for a single beta release installed, the thread is not for that only. The level of support i expect is not expected to be given.

merlinpa1969
bullten, you stated that you were running the Beta, and you realized your mistake, you then state that you upgraded to the RC ( which still ISNT FOR LIVE SITES ) so you still get no Love here, hows about you stop screwing around and use the PRODUCTION version for your live site and play with the RC in a sub domain that way you can report buggs as what they are buggs and not whine about not getting support for using a non supported product on a live site

I found many people in this forum ready to argue instead of proving solution. There are tons of post where people say why you upgraded it, you should not, must see the warning and etc... When you don't know the solution then whats the use of replying on the forum post. This is human nature and they do to enjoy that. Would not take names but its a truth about the users, as if its really hard to get 1000+ post.
sparky
You can try 1) delete the whmcs files 2) upload the V5.0.3 files 3) open phpmyadmin find tblconfiguration and change the version number to 5.0.2 4) run the install script using the same DB details It should work... I can't see anything that would stop it.

You did a backup, right?
bullten
Downgrading is simple. You just restore the backup you made before your installed the RC. You did a backup, right? Backup is there but some order is placed after that. I cant restore that database. I haven't got any reply from whmcs yet. if they dont reply then I will try Sparky method. Till then I am still waiting. I am sure Sparky already used that method then only he gave me that solution
Strother
So restore the backup and key in the new orders manually.
