Project Management Provisioning for WHMCS

The WHMCS Project Management Provisioning module will automatically create a project when a user purchases one of your service. Great for design/development projects.

 

Say you setup a product for example "WHMCS Intergrations". These types of services usually come with a set price, but also have flexible needs. That is why WHMCS built the Project Management Addon.

 

This module allows you to automate the proccess of creating a project and setting up all the variables.

 

The module will:

 

• Create the Project
  
• Assign the client to the project
  
• Assign the Admin chosen to the project
  
• Set the status of the project
  
• Assign the service invoice to the project
  
• Add custom staff message board note (if required)
  
• Open and assign a new ticket to the project
  
• Allow you to set a custom opening ticket message
  

 

So all you have to do is set the product/service details up once, and whoever purchases that product/service will automatically have there project setup ready and waiting to go!

does it assign a predefined task list of all the items neecassary for that product or service?

not in its current state, but i will be looking at using the product custom fields to add tasks to the projects possibly in the next release.

There is now an update for this module which has some great new feature:

 

Added a ticket notes config option (assign notes to the ticket)

Added an option to set the due date (with dates ranging from days to 6 months)

Added the ability to create tasks for the project (simply enter the tasks on a new line in the option box)

Added a terminate command on the service page which will close the project and any associated tickets

Moved the "Go To Project" link to the buttons area for the service

Added a sidebar to the module output which has links to the knowledge base and version details

 

 

So the biggest feature in there is ABILITY TO ASSIGN TASKS TO THE PROJECT ON CREATION.

This module has recieved a new update and can now set due dates to 6/12/24/48/72 hours as well as the current set of options for due dates.

 

it also adds log entries for each task, notes, and ticket assigned to the project

Prevented Ticket being opened if no ticket message is added

Is there a way to get it to list the 'addons' for the service in the project or ticket notes?

 

The only way I can see so far to let my staff know which addons the project needs is to give them full access to invoices, which I don't want to do.

 

Hope there's a solution.
