affiliate commissions hook

hi

we offer our affiliates a 10% commission on a clients total spend, which includes their signup recurring fee and billable items. whmcs only gives commission on signups/recurring and not billable items. The total amount (including recurring and billable items) is stored in the field under client - Invoices/billing total Paid. Is it possible to have a hook or something to work out the commission based on this amount and deduct VAT from it (23% at the moment) and also have this field show in affiliate commission emails?

There aren't any hooks you can use to adjust the commission that WHMCS would calculate. You would need to use the AfterShoppingCartCheckout hook point to add in the line to provide the commission you wish to.

The simplest method would be an addon to the cron to check for billiableitems paid the day before and create the appropriate affiliate & commission database entries, and a mod to the comissions list ~£300+vat
