(Curl Error) Couldn't resolve host '' - code: 6

I want to set up US & UK location for my hosting service. I created 2 server groups, 1 for US and the other for UK. A US server is selected as the default server for the cPanel module. Hence, the UK server does not have an asterisk beside it.

In the when configuring products, I made 2 groups. 1 for US and 1 for UK. For the packages under UK, I configured in Module Settings to provisioning new accounts in UK server group.

When I placed a test order, I get (Curl Error) Couldn't resolve host '' - code: 6 when trying to provision an account automatically. According to the wiki ( http://docs.whmcs.com/Common_Troubleshooting_Tips#Server_Command_Error_-_Curl_Error_-_Couldn.27t_resolve_host__.286.29 ), I have to set up the server as default in order for it to work. However, that isn't possible! It's either the US or UK server getting the default status, I can't configure it otherwise.

Please advise me, especially if you have a working solution for provisioning accounts in multiple location.

curl error "unable to resolve host" *generally* means _EXACTLY_ what it says - that the system cannot resolve the hostname

this is mostly one of

* a firewalling problem

* a nameserver problem

* a typo

it's not related to servers or groups or WHMcS

try resolving it and connecting to it from your command line ...

Thanks a bunch! I removed "http://" in front of the hostname and let it be server.hostname.com instead of http://server.hostname.com and it works now!
