R-n-R
Does anyone know how to sell ID Protection (using the ResellersClub Module) after a customer has purchased the domain name? The only thing I see that can be done (unless I overlooked something) is just manually add ID Protection from the clients Domain Tab on the Admin area. And at the next invoice it will charge the client for the ID Protection. Anyone out there have a solution, I would love to hear it. Roy EDITED: to say that I know I could create an addon and allow the customer to purchase, but looking for an automated way to handle this.
othellotech
No idea about how to do it with the Logicbox/Directi stuff - I'd imagine (as they're charging annually for it) that you'll need to turn it on in whmcs, recalc/save the price, and then going into RC's site and enable it for the domain. What we did for our registry module was create an actual product, which on order triggers the call to othelloreg to enable it on the domain, altered the way WHMCS handles contacts (so the real contact detail is editable and the client can optionally hide/unhide each of the contact types) and set that product to a once-off minimal charge, as we dont charge annually for id-protection Realises that's not _overly_ helpful, but it shows that _something_ can be done, but a lot will depend on the features, pricing and API of your registrar.
