How to send emails to different clients and different emails?

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone.

I know that automated emails are sent to the client's email. Therefore, if the client is a web designer, creating several pages for his customers, he is the one that will recieve all automated emails. These emails will his name. However, I was wondering if there is a way to be able to create these automated emails, but that those are sent to each website owner, and not just my client in WHMCS? For example, if the website owners want to get a payment confirmation sent to their emails, how can this be done, if the automated email will appear with the name of the WHMCS client, and not the website owner? Is there a way to add different emails, and names, for each website that is hosted? Regardless of the client that manages all those websites?

If you add "contacts" (see the individual client profile screen) you can nominate additional users and select the types of emails they'll automatically receive.

Ok i have added the contact, thank you very much for your help. I would now like to test the emails that are sent, before actually sending it to that person. I have added the contact and put my email address there so that i can see how it will look. Now i just need to test a particular email. How would i do that?

Thank you very much for your help.

You'd test it in the same way the system would send it. What type of email is it?

i.e. If it's an invoice, generate a new invoice. It's a support ticket, open a new one for that client. etc..

The labels on the "sub-account" options will help you set which messages the contact will receive.
