giannabosanquet
I am looking for hosting a ecommerce website (Online shopping store) So i would like to know if cloud based service hosting would be beneficial than others? If yes how it will prove more beneficial than others OR what are the benefits. Or Any other good suggestion is welcome.

supernix
The cloud is nice for reliability. The cloud hosting will give you redundant fail over and reliability that you don't have when you are just on a single server. Clouds are more expensive than regular hosting since you get the reliability you need for mission critical sites. Another really nice benefit is that you can adjust your package according to your needs. Add more space/bandwidth on demand. I have many customers that are engaged in e-commerce but only use shared hosting.
giannabosanquet
I am just planning to change the host and the website is already 1 year old. As per the requirement its going to be a big online shopping store (more than 50 brands & thousands of products) that too with speedy interface and fast online payment procedure. tripler
If you have a budget, expected grown or marketing/advertising plan then you may just want to go dedicated, perhaps 2 servers 1 being for the database. The "cloud" can be a good choice but also a bad one. It just depends on many factors. Also consider a VPS, ad even shared hosting like super said. But your probably good in a cloud environment. supernix
I recommend for clients that are worried about scalability and heavy server loads get a Cloud Server. They are scalable on demand and give you the look and feel of a dedicated server. It is cloud based so you have that fail over you are looking for. Andrew Taylor
I'm having a great experience with Go Daddy as they provide very professional service and I’m very satisfied with their hosting.
