Where are my paypal invoices

I've been using paypal invoices for as long as I've been using WHMCS a few days ago I made a clean install of V5.0 of WHMCS and now everytime I try to invoice using paypal invoices I'm struck with "Gateway module is missing" error.

Back in the days this was a standard module in WHMCS and thus was installed by default.

I know I could just retrieve from the backup the missing paypalinvoices.php but I tried to the pristine file on this site and couldn't manage to find it, has support for this been discontinued??? Or is there a new way of doing things I'm not aware of.

Thanks Sparky, already had a backup of it, and it works in V5.0 just fine.

I was just wondering why it's not there anymore? Has something replaced it?

What about legacy clients then? If you do a clean install (providing you keep the DB intact) it's not anywhere to be found in here. (except through oldtimers like us I guess)

Yep the PayPal module has replaced the 2 separate modules that used to exist, one being invoices and the other subscriptions. Was a long time ago now but the recommended solution rather than loading the old module is to reassign older clients to the newer combined PayPal module. To do that simply go to Setup > Payment Gateways, deactivate the PayPal Invoices module, and when prompted choose the other PayPal module for what you want to re-assign the existing clients to.

At first I re-instated the old module, and it seemed to work, but I later found out that there was a bug. Customers would pay but their invoices would still be marked as unpaid.

I just did what Matt suggested and if it doesn't work I will post back to keep the comunity informed.
