sol2010 Posted January 24, 2012 Share Posted January 24, 2012 Hi folks I don't know if any of you use Jquery in your includes folder, but I do - and it was version 1.6.2. This was causing IE8 to crash and continually "recover the page" (leading to some irate customers who couldn't log in). I discovered this article courtesy of a google search and thought I'd share it - http://robspangler.com/blog/random-ie8-crashes-this-tab-has-been-recovered/ If it wasn't for my customer complaints, I wouldn't have known about this I simply updated my jquery version to the latest (1.7.1) and the issue seems to have been solved ! Can't believe I'm the only one with this issue! Anyway, hope it's helpful to someone. Phew!
