m8internet
Looking at removing the WHMCS text (not the mandatory notice for lease licences) within my WHMCS and replacing it with the logo : http://www.whmcs.com/wp-content/themes/whmcs/images/logo_whmcs.png including alt text "Powered by WHMCompleteSolution", rather than reducing the size of the text Is this permitted? I see plenty of templates have done this
Sitepearl
This is probably a question to send via support... I mean the entire purpose of having the "Do not try to remove this" rule is to get WHMCS some credit for their application, but if you're replacing it with a massive logo/link, I wouldn't see why it would hurt. Regardless though, you should ask WHMCS directly and not the community.
m8internet
This is probably a question to send via support... Unable to contact support Discussed before, the reseller is not forwarding my requests so I have to post all my support requests through the forum then wait patiently for their response I mean the entire purpose of having the "Do not try to remove this" rule It's NOT the mandatory text at the bottom, refer to my original request, it is the additional text at the top

WebsiteIntegrations
the "Powered by WHMCompleteSolution" text is not editable nor in the template files but encoded. You can get a branding free license then add whatever you want.

Furthermore, this specific text appears in the template and can simply be removed or replaced, as it is intended My request is to swap / exchange this from the default text to the logo instead, the alt then retains the text
WebsiteIntegrations
ok, sorry ... what text at the top are you talking about? If its in the template files then you can modify it.
m8internet
ok, sorry ... what text at the top are you talking about? Some templates has simple text : WHMCS It is also very large, I personally think using this logo looks better I read through the WHMCS agreement and couldn't find anything specific to the use of logos outside their original page or file
laszlof
I do not see that text anywhere in the default template or the language files. Are you sure its not the alt text for an image?
Sitepearl
If you're referring to the default theme, then this shouldn't be an issue. Though I must ask - why would you not want to use your own logo?
WebsiteIntegrations
http://demo.whmcs.com/?systpl=portal - you mean where it says WHMCS Demo at the top? That is just your company title and shows whatever you have it set to in admin. But yes that can be removed. "all pages of the WHMCS client area are templated to allow you to add/remove, and change the look and feel of everything." http://docs.whmcs.com/Client_Area_Template_Files
