mouseimaging
Hi, I upgraded my WHMCS soft toi the new Version 5. Since I didi this, my cron (is still working fine), but I don`t get the usual email indicating what was done and I dont see new Invoices generated (for renewals). Does someboby knows about this issue ? I appreciate your help. Best regards Mouse Imaging - Paolo
mouseimaging
Nobody has an idea ? I'm using Direct Admin and the cron wasn't changed. The file cron.php has the execussion rights. The only way I can generate invoices is doing them manualy. I really appreciate your help. Best regards Mouse Imaging Paolo
m8internet
How do you know it is actually working? (assume you see the system list of tasks carried out) What happens when you run the cron URL from the browser? Have you tested other cron jobs on your server?
mouseimaging
Hi, In fact the cron job doesnt work. I dont have any Job Avtivity on WHMCS. If I rin the cron URL it's working. The problem is that I tried all 4 cron job that whmcs give us but it doesnt seems to work. Do the CHMOD have to be changed ?
m8internet
Do the CHMOD have to be changed ? Checked mine and it is 644 However, as you have run the cronjob from the browser this confirm it operates correctly Some things to check What system are you using (example WHM/cPanel)? 1 If you have renamed the /admin/ folder make sure you have copied the path in the cronjob command line For example : php -q /home/account_name/public_html/WHMCS_directory/admin_directory/cron.php 2 Check the cronjob runs at regular intervals For example : 0 0 * * * is midnight each day 3 Check the email address for the cronjob exists I prefer this setting as then this confirms the task has been performed on a daily basis
