Facebook ads.

I have tried Facebook ads and found they are useless. After all, I never click on any unless I am checking out the competition.

Today I am signed up for a 6 part webinar from Facebook directly. it starts at 12:30 est and goes over a 2 week period.

I am hoping they can show me that their advertising can benefit more than them!

Its called facebook bootcamp if interested...

I will give my opinion as the lessons go along

So I have finished the facebook bootcamp.

In short Facebook ads are great for facebook, not so much for you or your business.

The only effective way to use facebook ads seems to be in conjunction with a facebook page or group.

There seems to be a bit of usefulness if you are giving away a free item too.

I will be getting 25 credit for signing up for the seminar, then I will get another 100 in ad credit if I get 100 additional page likes by end of November, This I will do by paying a guy on ebay 10 bucks to do this.

I will use this credit to advertise my facebook page, once you get "likes" you can have your announcements or posts seen by them.

Once my credit is done, I will again use ebay to get 1000s of likes for way less than advertising!

In short, Facebook in no way is a magic bullet!

Use every method you can, however, this should not be the method you are hoping will get you rich!

This would be against their terms, not to mention dishonest.

I should think legitimate advertising and not buying false likes and what amounts to shilling would be better, but to each his own.

Facebook has no issue with you having someone to manage your page or get likes or fans.

What to you constitutes "legitimate" advertising

Does this mean targeting each potential client with surgical precision?

What is legit to one is not legit to another!

At least with facebook each person has chosen to "like" your page

It is then my job to mix useful information with the odd ad to keep these "fans"

But mo point was, the ads shown on the right of the screen.... are not of great value!

Purchasing likes might add to your credibility to new facebook page visitors, but those purchased likes will not be customers at all. And obviously, it will not be legit unless the likes are generated by a facebook campaign itself. But you are of course to do as you please, until (if) you get caught.

I have found facebook ads useful to get more visitors for my niche websites. But I agree that for businesses it might be less useful. I am planning to create business campaigns soon, so I will see how that turns out.

But for my niche markets, at a low 0,02$ per click, I made over 1000 people like my page in no time and it certainly made more people visit my websites as well. And by some effective adsense placement on those websites I am even making a slight profit.
