sniperscope
I was using my own build system. But my system is not enough because my business getting bigger day by day. So, i decided re-install whmcs(i used it once and removed it) and I installed whmcs yesterday and set up everything(i hope). So, i want to test it today, and my shopping cart doesn't work. checking domain availability doesn't work seems it stuck. updating products doesn't work. Jquery says: Updating... nothing happen. Thus, i cannot check the system for further investigation. My test cart is here http://winhostings.com/cart/cart.php?pid=9 What is the problem?
m8internet
checking domain availability doesn't work seems it stuck.updating products doesn't work I agree that the Domain Name availability check for new Domain Names just stalls Equally, it is very slow when selecting the other options What changes have you made to the templates / configurations? Which template are you using? Another issue I noticed is when I select a product and then view cart, that cart is empty I normally use IE9, but also tested in FF3 and received the same resutls

m8internet
The layout has changed, you are now using a different template You will find my Domain Name checks in the WHOIS Lookup log Are they there? edit : I am wondering if it is the server itself For example, once I have followed your link the rest of the WHMCS installation (links) are unresponsive, but they do eventually respond after at least 30 seconds edit : I changed the category to Domain Registration and the same issue exists This pretty much confirms some form of issue obtaining the WHOIS from the registrar you plan to use Using my test Domain Name it eventually responded and advised all extensions as Unavailable I don't use the registrar field so can't help any further, mine is set to none Edited October 22, 2011 by m8internet
sniperscope
I changed layout. Now it is using portal theme of whmcs. whois result is An error occured while checking the availability of this domain I did not understand any word in your EDIT part. What is that mean? Did i messed up something during installation and/or after installation. Also my CSF firewall keep sending me mail which says /whmcs installation path/cart.php suspicious activity. m8internet
I did not understand any word in your EDIT part. What is that mean? Apologies for that, but rather than post three replies I just edited my original post edit 1 refers to I found the whole experience VERY slow Following any link was VERY slow, typically in excess of 30 seconds edit 2 refers to I changed the cart from VPS to Domain Registration I suggest you try this This is where the fault lies There is an extreme delay between your server and the Domain Name registrar service you are using This may be due to the first issue, the server being very slow Take a look through your WHOIS Lookup Log ggtrpl.com I tried the above Domain Name, as it is available However, your website returns this as unavailable As above, I do not use a registrar so have no experience of why this would fail with resellerclub set as the registrar

sniperscope
Hello Thank you so much for your effort. Did you check post #5 in this topic? My own code returns correct answer very very quick. I have no idea why whmcs takes so long and return with false for every query. Edit: I took whois log (actually reached by mail through csf/lfd) it says process took 73 seconds. I have no idea why whmcs takes so long and return with false for every query. Yes, I also tested it As above, I suspect it is the route the script is taking The outcome is either a time out or no response, which resulting in all the Domain Name options showing as unavailable If you are willing to test further, save the settings for resellerclub in a .txt file, then delete the registrar from WHMCS, then compare This will then confirm if it is the WHOIS script or the link to the registrar As above, I don't use a registrar 73 seconds response however suggests some other form of issue that needs resolving Refer to CSF Firewall and related threads (sadly CSF is too short a term to search, I used suspicious)
sniperscope
But how come my own script return fast(about one second) but whmcs takes 73 seconds. Both have same Reseller ID and Password.
