m8internet
I've come across an unusual issue and problem I don't appear to be able to resolve I want to access and download the addon products for WHMCS The reseller has advised me to contact WHMCS for the error message (although no error message appears) WHMCS has advised me to contact the reseller to obtain the downloads The reseller has advised me to contact WHMCS for an account WHMCS has advised me to contact the reseller to obtain the downloads Seem to now be in a catch 22 All I want and need is an account to access this section How do other users (customer of WHMCS reseller) resolve this?
m8internet
How do other users (customer of WHMCS reseller) resolve this? I really need to resolve this issue and had hoped someone in a similar situation would advise me how to proceed I have all the required information, but don't seem to be able to get either party to create an account for me
Daniel
Your reseller will need to provide the files for you. You're not able to login to the WHMCS client area unless you have a license with them directly.
m8internet
Your reseller will need to provide the files for you This is where it seems to fail, as the reseller simply advises they do not support WHMCS and error messages need to be reported to WHMCS When I explained I simply wanted to download the addons I received the same response and then subsequently to contact WHMCS for an account Their latest response was very similar, simply posting the main link : http://www.whmcs.com/addons.php When I replied with the link to the community addons they repeated their first response to contact WHMCS due to the error message (as this forms part of the forum) : http://www.whmcs.com/members/communityaddons.php I really need to take this further to have this resolved
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted September 26, 2011 WHMCS CEO Share Posted September 26, 2011 Hi, Currently both ourselves and Daniel are correct in the advice we've given you. Your reseller has to provide you with access to any files, including addons, as they are restricted to members only. Your reseller should not be refusing to do that so if they are, please report them to us. However with our next release we will infact be changing the community addons directory so that the addons can be accessed without needing a client area login - so if you can wait a few weeks, that will also take care of it for you.
