absolute
Hi All, Has anyone had success with tieing vBulletin to WHCMS using: http://www.boardoo.com/cp/announceme...-released.html Looking for reviews... I need stability and security, hoping this is the answer to tie 2 powerful tools together. What other solutions are there? I'm using vBulletin 4.1.6, and and super close to getting WHMCS. Regards, Me
Dragonsys
I have not tried that product out, but I would like to, it's just a large fee for me to just test it out with my system and make sure it does exactly what I am wanting. I have not seen any other solutions for WHMCS & vBulletin though.
absolute
I'm in the same boat.... Big money, for unknown results. I can't afford to have bugs. Maybe the WHMCS team could speak to the possibility of a plug-in being created? It seems to be a very popular request.
olijo
I previously used this product. The problem is with the main developper who disapear regularly. the support is non-existent and the product is updated sometimes when the complaints are too numerous. I get back my money with paypal and stop using this poor boardoo's solution. Stay away from this site will give you money, time saving and reputation.
absolute
Thank Olijo, this enforces what I've been reading else where. Its a shame they don't deliver a better product, as it appears to be the only one of it's kind. What do you use as a solution? Does anyone have any other solutions?

I'm working on a bridge for WHMCS and vB3.x & 4.x. I'll not use API as there is no reason to do it. In addition to the features that boardoo has, I'll add an extra field per WHMCS product, in case that you want to upgrade a user to a specific usergroup after buying that product. If product expires, it will revert the user back to its original vB usergroup. It was a long time ago that I wanted to do this bridge, but I didn't liked to be competitor of ...myslef:D as I've my own Forum addon for WHMCS. But ok, I know that for big boards my forum addon lacks of features. The price should be 50 Euros, and most important will be (as my other addons) with 100% visible source code.
