Simple Sitemap Generator - COMING SOON

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

This thread to announce the new module that will be released very soon. Simple Sitemap Generator.

The name gives it away, this is a module which will make it easy to add/create a sitemap on your whmcs site. No longer will you need to visit a sitemap generator site to keep your site up to date.

The module is easy to install (simply upload to correct folder), and the no other

file interaction is need, you add/edit/delete links all from the admin panel*.

The sitemap works from the database, no file writing involved when changing settings.

There are a set of default rules for whmcs pages that have been set up to best reflect how the pages prioritiesed, all of which are customizable.

All admin pages use WHMCS styling for easy intergration.

See the screen shots below for an over of the interface:

I will be back soon with more details and the price/download links

I am very happy to recieve suggestions so please if you have anything to add please post in the topic.

* Root directory needs to be writable before activating the plugin, this can be set back to more secure settings when the plugin is activated successfully. Optional rewrite rule can be added to the .htaccess file to change sitemap.php to sitemap.xml. This doesnt affect the sitemap function and the php extension will still validate on all major sitemap readers (Google, Yahoo, etc)

Yes the script is encoded using the same ioncube encoding as whmcs so it does not require any work to be decoded and run properly. (it is encoded to protect my interlectuall property)

And yes it does include the article links (seo or friendly or not) if you choose to allow it to.

I suspect you would sell more if you sold it decoded. I don't think there are many folks here who are going to share the script, its only 30 quid. I don't purchase encoded scripts because a) I can't trust them b) I have to trust that you will always be around to support it.

Cheers.

UPDATE!!!!

THIS MODULE HAS BEEN UPDATED.

And there is a new url to find the module, you can order from this link:

http://ext103hosting.com/whmcs.php?tab=sitemap

WHATS MORE, THE MODULE HAS BEEN HEAVILY REDUCED IN PRICE!!!!

£3.00GBP

is all it cost for 12months of plugin updates and support.

the update addresses the way the new addon module viewer decides if you have the plugin installed and updates the documentation links.

Im also going to offer an addon for the module which is for a fully decoded version leaving the source code open to manipulation.

Couple of questions:

1. Is there on on-going requirement to pay you every 12 months for the module and if we do not, does it stop working?

2. How much for the source + module?

3. What specification is the feed produced in?

4. Did you employ object oriented programming?

5. Which version of PHP/MySQL was the code written to work with?

hello inetbiz,

yes there is a 12 monthly license for the addon, which includes operation, support and updates. if you want different license terms you can contact me directly and we can discuss it.

the decoded version is an addon to the main product and can be found during the order proccess.

the sitemap is xml sitemap 0.9

there was no requirement to use oop for this addon and it has no effect on the operation of any code in general (oop or normal).

the php and mysql version needed always the same as the minimum requirements to run whmcs so you will have no issues running the module on your server.

will this generate a sitemap for my domain as well or just the domain that whmcs is installed on?

it will only allow you to create sitemaps from the domain and/or folder that whmcs is installed in. for example

if you site is installed at:

domain.com/

you can create any links from domain.com/

but if your site is installed in

domain.com/folder/

you can only create links from

domain.com/folder/

does that make sense?
