netwood Posted August 25, 2011 Share Posted August 25, 2011 We have a lot of customers that pay by check (Mail-in-Payment). What I'm lacking is an easy way to view a report that can show received payments by date and grouped by payment type. Let's say we post 10 checks today for 10 different customers and also have 5 automatic credit card charges. I would like to be able to select "From date" and "To date" with today's date and it will show all posted payments (via Invoices -> Add payment) and all credit card payments, with the customer name, transaction ID field (this is where we put the check number), invoice number and amount. At the bottom of each "Payment type" section, the total for the result should be shown. Basically, just like PayPal shows transactions if you search per date. Doable?
