Hi,

you can use WHMCS also for selling physical products. Just when creating a product under Product/Services.. choose the file in Other Tabs.. Before that you need to add that file under Support -- Downloads. Create a Category and add the file via ftp. The download link will look like http://www.sitename.com/dl.php?type=d&id=2.

After successfully purchase the customer will be able to download the file.

I believe it can be used for physical products. I'm working on a basic online store selling clothes and will be using WHMCS.

If you're looking to sell a large amount of physical products I'd suggests more specific software but for a few products it should work well.

even if he want to sell a large amount of physical products , WHMCS will work well, he just need to customize the client area template to be close to any regular e-store.

You can use it for that, but bear in mind you cannot delete products once they have been sold; so if you are selling large numbers, your product list may soon be hard to manage.

I believe the WHMCS team are working on an improvement though.

He can hide it from client area.

But it would be better to use a software that meet e-commerce sites needs, I think Prestashop is quite good.

Does anyone know of a DEMO cart using WHMCS to sell physical products? I'd like to see one implemented.

The support for this cart has always been top notch and I'd like to use it for my next project but that next project has a few items to sell with services.
