mrl14
FYI, I did a test and everything worked. Some notes about my test. 1- Credit card transaction 2- I have both WHMCS and Sun's GA add ons, so it resulted in duplicate products, but it worked. I'm going to try it now w/o WHMCS active. 3 - WHMCS will store products as PIDXX where XX is the product ID, whereas Sun's stores it as PID - Product Name (easier to read) I also put the code in complete.tpl inside the ispaid field, as before when I had it outside the ispaid and used paypal and didn't use WHMCS add on, commerce features of GA did not work.
mrl14
I just did a test using Sun's software, and I forwarded the user to the gateway (even though Sun says not to) and both the goal and ecommerce data showed up in GA. I'm using the Ajax Cart and PSIGate as my credit card provider.
mrl14
Funnels aren't working though with the 3 steps. Just the completed goal is marked as done.
getup
Funnels are a bit difficult. To be honest I don't understand why WHMCS goes through all the effort of building a plugin like this while in the end it should be core functionality. If we want the funnels to work we need more adjustments. I'm happy that WHMCS finally started supporting Analytics properly, but it could have been so much better. They have access to code I cannot change so their implementation could be further improved while I have to deal with the options I have to my availability. If you are using the Ajax cart I think the funnel will be different as well, as our funnel is built based upon URL's the Ajax cart is using a different method where the steps in the funnel will be different as well. In regards to forwarding it to the gateway; I'm not sure but I remembered where we did previous tests and if the payment was not made or something went wrong; the code was not displayed. But maybe things have changed and I was wrong with the guidelines in the readme file, could very well be.
belohlavek
Hello, now we are using free official WHMCS Analytics module but it does not track domains in orders (it tracks hosting packages, service and domain addons with no problem). Does your module track domains too? Do you offer some trial or money-back guarantee? Thank you. Ondrej
belohlavek
Hello, now we are using free official Google Analytics addon from WHMCS but it does not track domains (it tracks hosting packages, package and domain addons without problem). Does your module really track domains in orders (and orders paid by bank transfer, not by PayPal etc.)? Do you offer some trial/demo or money-back guarantee? Thank you. Navid
Hi getup, As you know the most important thing for an order is the payment for the order which should be made by client who place an order. Also for this purpose after placing an order, we should redirect all the clients to the Invoice (as we are doing this). For example: from all clicks that we are receiving from Adwords, we would like to know which of them have been converted to a Paid invoice then we are able to value the Conversion Rates correctly. Do you think it would be possible to do this through your Addon? Thanks
getup
Hi Navid, Sorry for the late reply, I haven't been that active on the forums. To answer your question: in theory yes. It depends on how you implement it. You can either add this within the {if $ispaid} codeblock or outside this block. This is up to you. If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to contact us via info@sensson.net. I'm sure we can help you out.
lukewd
What are the advantages of this over the built in Google Analytics code that WHMCS V5 and higher has? My main problem is that my traffic is coming from http://WWW.mywebsite.co.UK and then into WHMCS on a different domain http://ACCOUNTS.mywebsite.COM. Tracking is not transferring well from the one site to the other... Will this plugin help with that? Then also, does this addon have better Analytics e-Commerce integration? I'm finding in the e-commerce stats that my sales all have the wrong values... I use multi-currency as well.
Juanzo
I'm using Sensson's plugin with multicurrency without any issues. I'd advice contacting them via info@sensson.net, they've been most helpful with any question I've made them.
lukewd
Hello, I was wondering if there is anyway to track upgrades in Google Analytics? We have a Free Trial account which 90% of our customers choose before signing up for our full product. However, in Google Analytics this ruins the e-commerce stats, as everything is showing as $0.00. I was wondering, is there anyway to track the conversion when someone upgrades? And for this conversion to be attributable back to the original traffic source (such as PPC)? Thanks!
lukewd
Any suggestions to the above post anyone? Is this remotely possible?
lukewd
also, when installing this Unofficial Google Analytics addon, should we disable the one built into WHMCS before installing this one?
getup
Hi Luke, I think I've responded to these questions via e-mail but I'll answer them here too. Upgrades are trackable but to link them back to the original purchase is something that goes beyond what we can do with Google Analytics. It would probably be easier to track this from within WHMCS. And yes: it's recommended to disable the module from WHMCS if you're using this module. You'll risk tracking orders twice if you don't. Feel free to reach out to us via e-mail if there are further questions. We welcome all feedback.

m107
Hi, My whmcs is located at a subdomain and the main domain is a wordpress website. How does this addons work for me? As the visitor first sees my wordpress and then click to buy. Is this still able to provide me reports? Thank you
getup
Where your installation runs is irrelevant. This integration will always track the order if you set it up to do that. Keep in mind though that if you have particular funnels or other ways of tracking conversions Google may see your main domain as referrer. Whether or not that's a bad thing is up to you.
