BigGorilla
Dumb(?) question as I can't seem to find it at the moment... I installed whmcs a month ago under trial, then got preoccupied with other stuff. I went back to it, purchased a license, but I can't change the license in the software at the moment because it gives me the license expired screen, and requires admin login and password (and I forgot what password I set during the trial and don't feel like reinstalling this at the moment if I don't have to). Is there a way to recover or reset the admin password when the software is currently in an expired state?
PPH
are you able to access the normal login screen at http://your installation/admin/login.php ? If so it has an email password link there. I'm not sure if you can access that without being redirected though.
bear
Visit your cleint area here on WHMCS, and find your paid license key. Copy that into the configuration.php file in the installed WHMCS (you'll see where), and that should then allow you to at least reach the reset, I should think.
BigGorilla
Thanks, the configuration.php manual change was what I needed.
