snake
I can see that the ability to purchase add-ons doesn't work with WebsitePanel still. This is a significant issue as this is what stopped us using WHMCS many years ago with HELM or DNP, because of the same problem and we have been waiting patiently for this feature to be added. We really want to avoid the scenario of having LOADS of different hosting plans, and instead just have a few and have them easily upgradable with Add-ons. It seems the functionality isn't coming any time soon from what I had read on the forums, Is there any work around to achieve this with WebsitePanel other than to manually edit customers plan resources and then update their billing by hand. Anyone written a custom module or anything ? Russ

I could swear someone had written a module to do just this, but I can't find it anywhere in the forums any more.

snake
OK looks like I am going to have to get a custom module written. does anyone know why WHMCS only provisions addons for Cpanel and WHM, seems like an odd omission when the other panels have the same functionality, why not support it ?
uggle
This would be GREAT.... the functionality is there within the websitepanel/dotnetpanel enterprise server, but as mentioned, having to manually update hosting packages and accounts defeats the object of having an automated system. We ONLY use windows servers with dotnetpanel / website panel. WHMCS.... Are there any plans to add more functionality into the dotnetpanel websitepanel modules???
vanhoje
I'm also waiting for a module that supports websitepanel hosting add-ons to be provisioned and billed automatically... any updates on this ?
snake
I haven't progressed any further with it as it hasn't really been a priority yet as we are still nailing down some WSP issues before migrating from HELM, such as ColdFusion handlers, which is now done. However if enough people are willing to commit to buy such a module to cover the cost then I would be prepared to get it written ASAP.

It would be nice to have this feature so it will be possible to create a standard hosting plan for XX exchange mailboxes en for each additional mailbox (hosting addon) there will be an extra monthly fee. Do you have any idea of prices(estimated) and timing for this module?
snake
it rather depends how much it costs to get the module done and how many people want it. I expect that the number of hosts using WSP with WHMCS is quite small. As long as WSP web service provides all the required methods then it will be just a WHMCS module, otherwise WSP work will be required as well.
