datex
Hi Today I use a leased licensed from my hosting company. I am considering moving to another host. Can I just move (copy) the whmcs installation to the new server - and when enter another license?

0 Payton Designs
Yes, you will need to reissue the license through the WHMCS client area though.
0 newgenservices
Your current hosting provider will be able to offer you WHMCS license as long as you are their customer. If you are moving away to a different hosting provider, you will need to check with your new host if they are providing WHMCS licenses. You will not be able to reissue your license from WHMCS client area as you did not purchase your license directly from WHMCS. However with a valid license from your new hosting provider or directly from WHMCS, you should be able to move / copy your installation (both files and database) without any issues. All you would need to do post migration is to update your WHMCS license key before you can access your WHMCS admin area again.
